You do a lot of speculating yourself.

Look, I'm not denying that America's contribution to the war didn't make a difference. It did. Your help was much needed and appreciated. And I'm not denying that the US is not a superpower. But the victory has gone to your heads because a lot of Americans are acting as if America won the war all by itself, completely ignoring the sacrifices of other countries. And usually those people are just trying to make themselves look heroic/patriotic/... by taking credit for other people's efforts. That, because they were born as an American, they automatically are heroes.

Now, I'm not that deluded to think that all 300 million of you think and act that way but it's just that I've been picking such statements up more and more over the last few years.
