"if we threw compassion and convention to the wind and flexed our military stregnth to it's maximum there would not be a single shred of this world not living under the stars and stripes."

For anyone wise with power would know that would have to be the dumbest thing anyone could ever say. ... but I have to make a point here.

If you stretch your military strength to it's max, taxes will go up and resources will be stretched so thinly that you couldn't possibly stand up against nations that are either big or small. Can you contemplate how much money the tax payer will have to fork out to pay for this huge expansion of military strength? Can you contemplate how stretched your power and influence will be? Without a shred of doubt, you will have no choice but to give up much of your strength in order to maintain your own country. You risk becoming bankrupt and losing much of your military strength as a result. Also the invasion will spark off a huge rebellion. So please, stop with the cocky comments all right?

You are not invicible, you CAN be killed! Also one other thing. The US is not the greatest nation. Being the "greatest" isn't based on military power but how it treats it's people and other nations. Last time I checked, you have a nasty problem with discrimination at the moment. Also you have a nasty habit of looking down on other nations. You are not the greatest and never will be. Power doesn't change that. Now if you think you can take the world, then you can start with china and if you are still alive I will take back all I said. That's IF you are still alive!
