State Department Anti-Semitism

Reader comment on item: The Scandal of U.S.-Saudi Relations

Submitted by Thomas Jay Berger, MD (United States), Jan 11, 2003 at 12:44

The article is excellent. The only factor it seems to omit is the historic institutional anti-Semitism and its resultant anti-Israel bias that has been characteristic of our State Department, since it cooperated blatently with the Nazi Holocaust by closing our borders to Jews trying to escape Germany and gladly sending them back to what they knew would be certain death in the camps at every opportunity.
I would love to hear Mr. Pipes comment on the history of US governmental anti-Semitism per se, as well as anti-Israel sentiment at the State Department.
