I feel that the article makes a very good point. However, its conclusion may only be part of the correct answer. It may be true that our executive branch is being purchased by deep pockets, but the reason may not all lay in greed. The answer is much deeper than just the outer shell of bribery. I believe the total truth surfaces when we begin to understand the American culture itself.

We have for too long measured our success in life with dollar signs rather than compassion. We have brainedwashed our youth into believing that how much we make determines who we are.

How can we expect our own people to follow what they are taught in church when they go to church one day a week, yet work for five?

The system we fight for is quickly becoming a victim of itself, being slowly poisoned by the very liberties it has been sworn to defend. An ironic death at best.
