Healthcare professionals recruited to Saudi Arabia

Reader comment on item: The Scandal of U.S.-Saudi Relations

Submitted by K. Ehrlich RN (Israel), Sep 8, 2003 at 18:31

I recently wrote a letter to the editors of several major nursing journals who accept adverts from recruiters for Saudi hospitals(American Journal of Nursing, RN, Nursing etc...). I cancelled my subscriptions, having been aware for some time that the professional doors to Saudi Arabia are closed to me , as I am Jewish.
Today I was asked by one of the journals to present evidence to support my claim that a Jew is prohibited from stepping on Saudi soil(in preperation for publishing my letter in the journal). To that end, I began a web search, and came upon this excellent site. Thank you so very much for your help.
