Saudi Influence - an illusion

Reader comment on item: The Scandal of U.S.-Saudi Relations

Submitted by Dip (India), Feb 11, 2014 at 08:25

Over-reaching, aggressive Islam will attract counter actions and adverse public opinion. The Saudi economic empire in US would collapse in no time when the political bosses desire. Who knows who will be the next President?

Secondly, Saudi's economy itself most likely to erode running into a deficit one attracting all its old enemies and then begging US for military support.

Americans are too smart for Saudi!
