When in another Man's House...Look at Yourselves First

Reader comment on item: The Scandal of U.S.-Saudi Relations

To Americans
==========

Do you realize that what you've made "liberal" or 'free' societies in the western world arent everyone's cup of tea?
Its not really respected. That's the issue here. They dont respect what America has become. The Saudi's would rather distance themselves from that. They dont WANT their country to be like what you've made it.

You were complaining that their religious intolerance is against UN Charters? And that the country or at least the Saad Family should be crushed? Did anyone say America should be crushed for the numerous crimes and abominable immoral acts it does?

That's the only issue you have with Saudi Arabia? That they are intolerant to other religions?

Take a CLOSER look at the high numbers of sexual offences committed in the USA and Europe; Child pornography, kids killing kids in your schools. I recently heard that the Saudi Government has restricted internet access WITHIN the country prohibiting "offensive" websites.

They see you as IMMORAL. The number of murders and rapes committed in the USA alone greatly outweighs the number of innocent palestinians killed every year.

Fix your own MAJOR problems in the USA before you go and complain to the UN that the Saudi government is "too strict" on women!!
