I understand why you refer to taqaiyya as an islamic concept, however, please note it is predominantly a shiite muslim concept that has been challenged and condemned by sunni muslims and their school of thought. I guess it is somewhat like how protestants differ from catholics.This concept has no basis and has found no back up evidence in the Quran.
