Thanks for keeping us all informed on this issue. However, the idea of "moderate" Islam will always be limited to a few of its adherents, not the majority. I believe that of all of the major religions, Islam by its very nature can never be described as "peaceful", though many Muslims may choose not to effect its dictates. As such, Islam will always be a militant aggressor that is either actively conquering or passively waiting for the right time to return to active conquest. As you know, this is the beating heart of Islam, regardless of the opinion of its moderates.
