Reader comment on item: Identifying Moderate Muslims
in response to reader comment: Problem with Moderate Islam

Having watched what is going on in the world I also have a problem with "moderate Muslims" . When I see demonstrations against those who are causing so much trouble in the world I will begin to belive that there might be moderate Muslims. Just signing a petition and putting your name on a list supporting someone does not in fact automatically create a moderate Muslim. Talk is cheap and actions speak much louder than words.

It is evident to me that the Koranic teaching about the way that they are supposed to treat those around them only applies if you happen to be a Muslim. Otherwise, if possible "kill them where you find them" more nearly fits what is going on in the world. When so called moderates begin reporting those who are involved in destruction of lives and property then things will begin to change.

There is no way that only those directly on the aircraft in 9-11 were the only ones who knew their plans. Where were the moderates then? Why was nothing reported so that the destruction of innocents including some of Islam took place? Why were there no demonstrations against such actions? Who continues to fund such activities? All these activities do not happen in a vacuum and nothing is said about it until after. They decry the actions, but it appears that nothing but talk is taking place to correct the problems.
