Islamist's smokescreens in Germany / M-11 : M. for Morocco?

Reader comment on item: Identifying Moderate Muslims

Submitted by Roberto M. L. (Spain), Nov 23, 2004 at 18:28

I consider it very important to expose the true aim of fake "peace" demonstrations in Germany and elsewhere. Islamists, as other extremists have done before, use all kind of instruments available in free liberal democracies in order to disguise themselves and confuse public opinion at large.

In the 80's it surprised me how many Palestinian students I found at German universities. They got all kinds of support from the German government and related public or semi-public funded institutions. In some university residences the Palestinians were already the majority. They hardly integrated - as did students from far away Burkina Fasso or Peru- and several were islamic militants, altough - not surpringsily- they did not want to return home, but to stay in Germany or Europe...
For german media and public opinion was somehow emotionally helpful to portray palestinians, by default, as the victims of sionist oppression: the israelis themselves were now the oppresors. Visitng Cologne last October, I found close to the Cathedral some islamic activists with banners protesting against the israel goverment. Like it has been for years. It would be hard. though, to hold a similar public and almost perpetual demonstration criticizing islamists: chances are that it would be quickly considered "ausländerfeindlich" ("hostile to foereigners").

Regarding the March 11th Madrid terrorist attacks I would welcome your research or opinions on this issue. Personally, I believe it was more of a moroccan led or instigated terrorist attack on Spain or against its conservative led Government (revolting violently against the Aznar goverment stance on Western Sahara, the "Perejil" Island affair, on the ilegal immigrants crossing the strait of Gibraltar from moroccan shores, etc.) than a truly islamist terrorist attack on the ""West"at large.

Almost all of the terrorist were morroccan. Markedly there were no iraqis or palestinians among the terrorists, protesting for spanish military presence in Irak or support for US policies, which the socialist and the spanish "MSM" sold -with success- as the "cause" of the March terrorist attacks in Madrid.
