Reader comment on item: [Israel's Gaza Withdrawal:] A Democracy Killing Itself

Submitted by Mortaryan (United States), Sep 11, 2005 at 17:36

Will some Lib tell me why is it ok for Arabs to live in Israel, but it's not ok for Jews and Christians to live in Palestine?

(It seems to me, that Jews left behind would be the only viable tax base of any real significance for the Palestinian government anyway)

I understand why most Jews and Christians wouldn't want to live there, because they would be murdered in their sleep, if not in the streets (like Arafat's brother they other day), but why is it ok for the so called Palestinians to ethnically cleans the West Bank and Gaza?

If you ask me, Liberals are always pretty selective when it comes to holding others, but the left, up to their own, and a lot of times ignorance, arrogance and racism seems to be their underlying motivating factor behind their choices.

I hear repeatedly how evil Israel is, yet Israelis are not ethnically cleansing their county of others, Christians, Muslims, the wide array of Jews of differing cultural and national origins, all live together reasonably peaceful like and participate in their Democratic process.

The Israelis protect and allow free access to all the Holy sites, regardless of the faith, the Palestinians are not in full control and they've already desecrated and destroyed both Jewish and Christian holy sites.

The hypocrisy, if judging based on liberal values, of liberals is amazing; if any of the parties in the conflict is the example of liberal values it is the nation of Israel, and the liberals of the world turn their back on her with acidic vitriol.

I'm not justifying nation building or world policing either, but even this war in Iraq is firmly planted in liberal ideals and values, yet where are the liberals, providing decoy for the hate-America lobby.

People on the side of the Palestinians now are morally bankrupt (their bankruptcy started when Arafat said no to peace and just daily becomes more solidified with each Palestinian action), just like the people who directly and or by complicity followed the positions of money laundering corrupt governments (i.e. France, Germany and Russia) and UN official, and refused to go into Iraq, they are the ones who followed the lead of greed (sorry no oil was taken or stolen, the left was once again horribly wrong).

Ask a Bosnian today whether America should have gone into their country and establish peace, justice and democracy, I have several Bosnian friends (who are secular Muslims) and they all say the same thing, and while no one is pro-war, they are for our mission in Iraq (as it would be hypocrisy to refuse another one was the benefit of).

I am not justifying the annexation of lands by Israel, but in examination of history it is always from the left that the worst political extremes in history come forth and commit the worst crimes against humanity and liberals are always in cahoots with them till its too late, and land for peace has shown Muslims they war for what they want and win.

The only solution for the Palestinians, is a massive UN force of 1,500,000 blue hats with the power to police, and economic occupation zones governed by each one of the members of the security council, to establish justice, democracy and economic stability and rebuilding the Palestinian infrastructure, like the allies did with Germany, and reeducate the Palestinian Arabs away from the violence, hatred and war of Islam.
