A citizen's army cannot be deployed against their fellow soldiers

Reader comment on item: [Israel's Gaza Withdrawal:] A Democracy Killing Itself

The residents of Gaza and all those present who are, or were, in the army, should don their own uniforms when the IDF comes to deport them from their homes.
They could refuse to move on the grounds that a citizen's army cannot be deployed to harm the state by turning on their comrades in arms.
