Nice try, but it did not work. MUST READ

Reader comment on item: Distinguishing between Islam and Islamism
in response to reader comment: 1.8 Million Christians converting to Islam because they actually believe in it makes me laugh, but 1.8 million converting because money issues, pressure, social climbing, promotions, threats, to divorce ,to marry several women….etc. makes more sense.

I read about half of your article, before I stopped to comment. Im surprised to see all this hatred towards Muslims. I did not expect all this aggression from a Christian, especially since our Quran, in the Chapter of Al Maeda, Verse 82 says: "And you will find that the closest people in friendship to the believers are those who say, "We are Christian." This is because they have priests and monks among them, and they are not arrogant."

Replying to all your claims will take time, so I will do my best to answer what I have time for:

1) Killing of muslims who leave Islam: You mentioned this and how this is something cruel and inhuman. What I know is that many countries and governments have very severe penalties for those people who go against them and their constitution. If such severe penalties are justly imposed for those who against man-made law, why should a similarly severe penalty not be imposed on someone who goes against divine law after he has known the truth and become one of its followers. Islam does not force anyone to convert, and the Quran clearly mentions this. However, once someone has accepted Islam, yes, his penalty is as you said, but is justified based on the above line of reasoning.

2) Friday Sheikh praying that children of Jews and Christians be orphaned: As a practicing Muslim and an Arab living in the Gulf region, the heart of Islam, I attend Friday prayers every Friday. I have never ever heard such a thing being said. What I do hear are prayers for God to be in our aid against those who we are in war against, such as the Jews in Israel, who came to Palestine several decades ago and decided to conquer the land and kick out its original inhabitants, and now call them terrorists for asking for their land back and fighting for it.

3) The word love does not exist in Islam: This one is funny because did you know that the word Islam itself comes from the Arabic word Salam which means peace; Islam means peace acquired by submitting your will to God. If you read the Quran you will find dozens of places where peace is advocated, even in times of war.

4) Christians converting because they believe in Islam makes you laugh: What makes ME laugh is why somebody would convert to a religion that says 1+1+1=1. The true teaching of Jesus Christ pbuh was not this, this is what Paul has spread and it is not the truth. In the revised standard version of the Bible, the word trinity and any mention of it whatsoever does not exist. You know why? Because 32 Christian scholars of the highest emminence declared it to be a fabrication, and threw it out of the Bible, along with the word "begotten" as in "begotten son". That too was thrown out of the Bible by your own scholars. You know why? Because the true teachings of Jesus Christ pbuh are the same as those our Prophet Muhamad pbuh, which is that there is only one God, and that both Jesus and Muhamad pbu them both are his messengers.

5) Killing of non-Muslims is just: This is the biggest lie ever. I will refrain from defending Islam on this point and will let the Quran speak for itself. To quote the Quran, Chapter 5 Al Maeda, Verse 32: " ... who ever killed a soul, except for a soul slain, or for sedition in the earth, it should be considered as though he had killed all mankind..."

Notice how the Quran does not say whoever killed a Muslim, it says whoever killed a SOUL, be it Muslim, Christian, Jew, or any other human.

These are my responses to your false allegations, which lead me to conclude that your knowledge of Islam and the Quran is very weak, Im sorry to say.

If anyone has any other questions please let me know by commenting on my comment or emailing me if my email is visible. I will be happy to tell him the truth instead of these lies that this guy is spreading, either intentionally or out of pure ignorance.
