Reader comment on item: Distinguishing between Islam and Islamism
in response to reader comment: islam not a religion of peace

Submitted by hewyxx (United Kingdom), May 9, 2010 at 07:58

I think Nina Niazi has a good point. Islam means war, as practiced and preached by Mohammed. There has never been tolerance and to-day it's at least as bad as ever. Islam means stasis, no progress in terms of human understanding, no progress in terms of fundamental principles of justice for all. Stay in the stone age both socially/politically and materially is Islam. It makes sense. The powerful hold on to power.

Islam is no religion of peace. It was invented by a warrior who distinguished him at that. It's the perfect belief for those who believe in power by brute force and thuggery. Islam is the religion of conflict and war and political oppression. It's ranks of supporters are, as Nina says, just brainwashed, unthinking Neanderthals because they were brought up that way.

Islam is the belief system of war, brutality, savagery and intolerance of free speech , thought and expression ..
