Obama's naive and ignorant speech in Cairo!

Reader comment on item: Assessing Obama's Cairo Speech

Obama's speech was outrageous! In my opinion, he deliberately and consciously lied to his audience about the nature of islam. To prove his point about the "peacefullness" of islam Obama said: "..is it not mentioned in the holy (!) qu'ran that ...if you take an innocent life, it is as if you take the life of the whole of mandkind, ...if you save an innocent life....it is as if you save the whole of mandkind...".?

Obama conveniently "forgot" to mention that this is a quotation of jewish scriptures in the qu'ran, where is clearly mentioned that " .....it was ordained to the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL that....if you take an innocent life it is as if....etc". For the muslims there are quite different commandments that are prescribed.

He also lied about the figure of muslims in the US. Not at any time have there been 7 million muslims in the US. Obama also spoke about the noble prize laureates of muslim origin in the US! Who are they? where are they?

In France Obama even meddled with french domestic affairs when he urged french President Zarkozy to withdraw the ban of Hijab in public institutions in France. Is that proper conduct for a US-President who is on a visit to a foreign country? And he called upon the Europeans to "reach out to the muslim world". These muslim people come to our countries by the millions, uninvited, threaten our culture, our freedoms, our democracy, our inner security, and represent a real heavy burden on the fabric of the social welfare systems in european countries. In Denmark, for example, 5% muslims consume up to 40% of the public social welfare spendings! Why would it be any different in similar european countries? Many of their clerics preach hatred and sedition in their mosques, and many muslims, especially among the younger generations, openly or secretly, sympathize with Bin Laden and Co.

We are to reach out to the muslims, Mr President? ... rom
