A few dumb things in Obama's speechReader comment on item: Assessing Obama's Cairo Speech Submitted by Romesh Chander (United States), Jun 4, 2009 at 12:14 He was talking about Hijab and equating it with Freedom of Religion, and how US (probably in schools) defends a woman's right to wear hijab). Is that what Islam boils down to? I wonder, tomorrow, Obama will defend Veil in schools too. Another thing was the rules for contributions to muslim charities and how these rules discourage muslims to contribute and that they should be changed. I thought, Obama was fighting Terrorism. Has he been advised of Holy Land Foundation trial? Such silly statements will encourage extremists not only in Europe but also in US and Canada to push for Hijab, Veil, Contributions to front organizations for Terrorism. I wonder who was the genius who put these things in his speech. Was it Rahm Emuanuel?
