What I know about Islam

Reader comment on item: America's Crash Course on Islam

Submitted by Sammy (New Zealand), Nov 4, 2007 at 02:45

I was born and lived in a moslem country for more than three decades. I also had two rare opportunities to live in the US and New Zealand (which can be considered as non-moslem countries). As far as I experienced, there is no tolerance living in a moslem country. Tolerance is only judged by their standard. It is very hard for us, christians, to make a prayer meeting or worship at home, not to mention the difficulty to build a church.

They can say whatever they want about Christianity. However, if we make a speech, say at church, comparing Christianity with Islam, and they know that, sooner or later our church would be burnt by them.

What are being portrayed by this Web about Islam, as far as I experienced, are the facts.
