Reader comment on item: America's Crash Course on Islam

Why settle for the other side to set the pace as to what the war should be called. Therefore, I say the war on terrorism ought to be called "the liberty expansion effort". For there is something to be said about yielding the initiative to the other side in any form, for it is a tacit admission that they are setting the pace. After all, what is the norm? J'accuse as well as the Magna Carta, on one side; or the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, on the other side? For isn't President Bush correct in saying that liberty is the gift from almighty God to people, instead of the gift of the United States to the people of the world.
