Reader comment on item: America's Crash Course on Islam
in response to reader comment: Misunderstanding

Mr. f.sha,

Please accept my sincere apology. My reply to your "fear of Moslems" letter was based in part on, quoting you, "I have met many Americans.....who fear the Islamic revenge".

Again, I apologize for my mistake.

I am curious, however, who these Americans that you've met are. Do they actually say they are afraid? Or are you speaking of the effort on the part of many "left-wing" groups who think all we need to do is "have an understanding and empathy for the (so-called) 'plight' of Muslims". That mentality is I admit is largely based on fear. Political correctness has no place tactically or strategically when fighting a war.

As a fellow Christian, I admire what I suspect was a struggle on your part to leave your homeland and come to America. You remind me once again what a fantastic gift God gives to those in this country; the opportunity to openly study His word. John 8:31 - So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had beleived in Him, "If you continue in My word, you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." very respectfully, Jennifer Solis
