in response to reader comment: Murder as Motivation

Absolutely true. The Koran and Muhammed and the "Hadith" a collection of tall tales regarding Muhammed all constitue the canon and dogma of the ideology. My point is that this composite , deranged as it is, does not kill people, amputate limbs, or enslave females or any of the other twisted notions embodied in it. It is the actions and practices of so called "Muslims" that are the problem. It is Muslims that commit the acts.

The "Study" of "Islam" is of no consequence, aside from mildly interesting intellectually. The self proclaimed "Muslims" are the perps. When the police arrest a mugger, they have no interest in the ideological motivations of the mugger. So it is with "Muslims". All Muslims are potentially dangerous, unpredictable, and have internalized a system of deluded concepts that are violent and incompatible with most concepts of civil and human rights. The 800 pound gorilla in the room is: what to do about the "Muslims". Experience has shown that ,left to their own devices, Muslims will work against the established order, take every and all opportuities to undermine the social norms, work individually and in concert with other Muslims, and with allied parties when in their interest to do so, to bend the social structure to their will. The violence is a constant background threat. As example the intimidation of the press, the disruption on campus, etc, etc.
