Tears of War Sounding Off

My ears are flooded with roaring sounds-
Ammunition rounds,missile,and stiff bodies-
Pounding the ground-
My ears are flooded with roaring sounds-
Innocent found,caught in cross-fire-
Notify relatives by the pounds-
My ears are flooded with roaring sounds-
Piercing mounds of cries within wombs-
Over crowed operating rooms-
My ears are flooded with roaring sounds-
Soldiers found on both sides taken down-
Forward all calls we can't afford to accept-
Any now-
We are still at war-

When measured to your worth

More precious and useful on
This earth then beneath it
You risk your lives
