I very much appreciate your message about being both a Muslim and a loyal American. It sounds as if you wrote it from your heart. Real life does not bear up well under close scrutiny - unless one has accepted the gift of faith in God's infinite love and care for us, which God offers each of us.

It's been my experience that most people accept what they've been taught until/unless they discover a better explanation for why the world is the way it is. I and all those like me respect and honor your service to us Americans and the USA, and empathize with you in your suffering the pain of exclusion. As Churchill once said, "Democracy is the worst form of all governments - except for all the others."

I hope your Muslim faith teaches that God will bless you in the next life, if not in this one, for doing what is right and good in His sight. That is what Jesus Christ teaches us Christians (and all others who choose to listen to His words), along with the infinite love God has for each of us, His adopted children.

You and all your comrades-in-arms are constantly in my prayers.
