To Doug Corrigan,

Sir, ... Where did you get that translation of Quran (Koran) and Bukhari Hadeeth? I believe your source of references are bogus. Here's the more relevant translation:

Koran 2: 191
"And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al-Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers."

Bukhari Hadeeth. Vol.1 Book:2. Belief. No.24.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform a that, then they save their lives an property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."

And I also feel the needs to explain more by showing you the previews sentence on Koran 2:190:

Koran 2:190:

"Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors."

Can anyone see the big difference? What Doug Corrigan posted was entirely different from what Koran and Hadeeth really says. I have few points to make things clear:

1. In Koran 2:191, Allah does not tell us (moslem) to kill (or even slaughter) Jews or Christian or any other religion (or race in this matter). You see, He does not mention ANY specific persons/people/representative/etc.

2. In Koran 2:191, Allah also say "And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you". Can you get the point? Allah does not tell us to kill, unless there's some one overtaken or expeled. Meaning, Allah telling us to fight back and reclaim what is to be one's right. It's in the same logical sense with SELF DIFFENCE. Thus, it can be say that ALLAH DOES NOT TELL US TO FIGHT (OR KILL) UNLESS SOME OTHER TRYING TO FIGHT (OR KILL).

3. And in Koran 2:190, Allah say "Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors."
This only can make more even clear of what I mention on point 2. See : "THOSE WHO FIGHT YOU". and still He tell us not to TRANSGRESS. Only do what have to be done. If you kicked once, kicked back once.

4. No word "MAKE WAR" in Bukhari, WHAT SOEVER! and the word 'fight' is defined by "offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity", it's in the same spirit as Gospel. Not a fight in a violence senses, more of a fight in "never give up on spreading good news".
and people refuse, then "their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah", meanding no human (or Muslim in this matter) has the right to jugdge or pressecute or even take lives of other.

My suggestion to Doug Corrigan, or any of you here reading this, who wants to refer Quran, please go to the right sources, go ask the Moslem, don't ask your Pastor/Father/Popes/etc. who hates Islam. It's just unfair. It's like asking a mathematic teacher for a advice on falsetto singing, you're coming to a damn wrong place.

Beside, there's so many bogus Quran has been written to discredit Islam. and that's not a good book if you are planning to study about Islam for any purpose.

I suggest you to find the real Quran or Hadeeth from the real moslem and believers. If you don't have any access to them, you can add quran.noble on your Yahoo Messanger, or go to http://quran.noble.googlepages.com/

Thank you very much for your attention.
