Individual moral imperativeReader comment on item: Muslim Soldiers in the West, Criticized by their Communities Submitted by Mark Major (United States), Jan 14, 2007 at 13:40 When I speak of every single person's responsibility, I don't mean as a responsibility to carry arms and go fight. I mean as a law abiding citizen of whatever country they are in. If a person sees a crime (terrorism) being committed, or about to be committed, he has a responsibility to notify the police or proper authorites to prevent the crime or report what they know about a crime so the criminals can be arrested. Yes, that is an individual responsibility of a law abiding citizen The time may come later when it does become necessary for the citizen to become a citizen soldier again, but if all the non terrorists became good citizens now, the citizen soldier will not be necessary.
