I'm Your Friend

Reader comment on item: Muslim Soldiers in the West, Criticized by their Communities
in response to reader comment: I salute you, Al Amreeke

Submitted by Philip Saenz (United States), Feb 7, 2007 at 20:01

Dear Al Amreeke,

Sir, I wish that I knew you personally. You could be my friend any day. I've met only three Muslims in my life and they were all excellent young men. They can't all be crazy.

I can understand why you have to keep quiet. And I know you are caught in a horrible situation. You have a lot of courage. May God bless you. I'll pray for you. Your friend, Philip Saenz
