Reader comment on item: Muslim Soldiers in the West, Criticized by their Communities
in response to reader comment: A real Muslim, a real American Soldier

Submitted by Doug Corrigan (United States), Apr 17, 2008 at 13:48

This gentleman is truly one disturbed and irrational individual. Only a fool could be a moslem in the first place; only a real truth-twister could believe that islam can be reconciled with American ideals of freedom of speech and religion.

"Kill the Jews and Christians and other non-believers wherever you find them, for their rejection of islam is worse than your slaughter of them," (koran 2-191) is not a sentiment that fits easily into the American Constitution.

Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 24:
Mohammad said: "I have been ordered by allah to MAKE WAR on all people until they testify that no god has the right to be worshipped except allah, and that muhammad is allah's apostle." How in the world can an adherent to islam — who MUST accept the preceding statement — reconcile it with Americanism?

Statements from the koran and the hadiths, which are examples of the impossibility of reconciling islam to Americanism are legion. What's the point of trying to deny this?

...

This moslem needs to see a psychiatrist.
