THIS IS WHY THERE ARE SO MANY LEFTIST PROFESSORS

Reader comment on item: Profs Who Hate America

Submitted by Richard (Australia), Feb 19, 2007 at 04:59

The reason that there appears to be more leftist professors in our universities is because there is. The reason that there is comes from the fact that the more you know, the deeper you think, the more you ask "why?" in life, the more accurate your beliefs become. The neo-conservatives are stuck in their ways, unable to change their incomplete and incorrect paradigms. Economic rationalists blindly following a mode of thinking and economic theory developed back before germs were even known about. Perpetuating ignorant thinking through false models of how people and the world really are. This is why the world's great thinkers will always be described as left, because the truly intelligent and wise tend to scrutinise even their own fundamental beliefs and not accept false beliefs as readily. Even the word conservative is indicative of this flaw by literal definition.

...if you are reading this blog, you have most likely made up your mind already and fall into the category of people that can not question the validity of deep routed belief systems.
