Response to Paul Wakefield's commentReader comment on item: Profs Who Hate America Submitted by Joe Vitale (United States), Jul 10, 2005 at 00:27 I'm very glad to see a British man put in his opinion - the British are very well informed (much more informed than the American public). I am an American that is in strong agreement with your extrapolation in your responses to statements that had been expressed earlier.I would also like to add to your response to the "we will look bad if we don't attack now" statement: It's a double-sided coin. If they are so worried about looking bad that they make sure they are hasty in war-waging decisions, wouldn't that make them look bad to the people that disagree with their actions? I'm having trouble making sense out of the reasoning, but I guess if they are going to use that kind of reasoning, they might as well flip a coin to decide who they want to choose to please. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
