Elect the faculty?

Reader comment on item: Profs Who Hate America

Submitted by Grace Murphy (United States), Nov 12, 2002 at 16:51

I get so tired of reading about how so many Profs bash America and its policies. I have an idea: Since these so called so-called intelligent life have their salaries paid by their students' parents and via our tax money, how about we elect who we want to teach our children? I'm sure if we all had input, the collective teaching profession would not be so leftist and so pro-anything un-American. They're just like all the other hate mongers in the world: take away their money and they change the tune they're singing.
