Reader comment on item: Profs Who Hate America

Submitted by Ron Norman (United States), Nov 13, 2002 at 13:39

We have some major problems with the teaching staffs of our Universities...rather than teach the subjects they have been trained for, they teach the politics of confrontation and the spreading of politics that have imprisioned and killed millions. Children are not sent at great expense by their parents to Universities to hear the rants of "professors" pushing the bloody tenets of the Islamic Fascists or the panacea of communism that imprisons the soul and kills the body.

A one sided discourse at the Universities can and does cause irreparable harm to the country and cannot be condoned any longer. Under the guise of Political Correctness and Diversity, freedoms have been lost. The country has a Fifth column and its base is on the universities' campuses; it is the last stronghold of the freedom haters, the communists and fascists who have given the world so much grief in the last century.

Just this month Professor Peter Kirstein who by his own hand joined the Campus-Watch.org sent a letter to one of our young men who will eventually protect Kirstein's freedom of speech and called him a baby killer among other things and urged him to desist in his quest at the United State Air Force Academy.

Kirstein thinks that the United States deserved what happened on 9/11. He has written to the Iraqi government and told them of his plan to subvert the war effort against them, [it was posted in the Iraqi newspapers]. Professor Kirstein is but one example of many too numerous to mention,... they are dangerous to the country.

Tenure has to be looked at from a stance of freedom for all, not just freedom for professors to teach subversion of our country's ideals. This is the best country in the world and must be protected against its enemies.
