Reader comment on item: Profs Who Hate America

Submitted by ciera (United States), Feb 11, 2004 at 11:54

I am in my sophomore year of highschool, trying to write a speech on the reasons why people hate america, and more important, WHO. Ive searched through and through, and have yet to find a real good thesis. People flee their own country to come here, to this nation. is this due to poverty in their county? NO! why? well, i believe they're coming to this country, frankly, to save their own lives? i figure.....would you rather oppose the bully, or be on their side?!?
