Too many bleeding hearts?

Reader comment on item: Profs Who Hate America
in response to reader comment: Too many bleeding heart liberals

Submitted by Beth (United States), Sep 3, 2007 at 16:40

I googled the term "bleeding-heart liberals" and came up with this article. I am just now reading a book by Robert Jay Lifton called: The Nazi Doctors. In order for these doctors and all associated RIGHT-WING "good" Germans to carry out this mass genocide, it was necessary for them to be 'hard, unsentimental, and to numb any feelings of empathy in order to carry out this racial 'cleansing.' In other words, NOT a "bleeding -heart liberal. Be very, very careful of this attitude of hardening of the heart when it comes to matters of the State. It recently was responsible for the worst horror of the 20th century, at Auschwitz and Dachau.
