I am not particually over the top on religion, but I do like to get a good working knowledge of my own and something of other peoples. I noticed that if I tried to show something out of the bible to a muslim it was like a fly being introdused to DDT. I think this is strange as the Koran mentioned Jesus by name 25 times. then the Koran never said the bible is abrogated . I can only assume this is a bit of islamic folk law handed down from some mullah.

I know some of the kids here from pakistani families get into trouble if their family finds a bible in their house, where my kids have the most amazing collection of stuff, some I dont like, that seems to land in the junk in time. We all know life is a wonderful gift and would like an answer for it . why is islam so certain they have the answer. I was part of a christian group like that when I was young and what a fall that group had.
