If you are programmed to be hostile to Muslims vis-a-vis Islam, then no more discussion. But I submit as a moderate Muslim that Islam recognizes the values of all religions. All religions, other than Islam, are practiced and propagated as regional or with non-conversion status. Islam believes in one God, Creator of all creations of all universes. It believes in good ways of life and living and prohibits bad ways of life and living. Every individual is responsible for his ways of life and living. All prayer is for respecting God and His creation. Respectfully remembering God in life and living is prayer. For the sake of unity, standard, discipline and quality there are prescribed prayers. In fact, good life is in itself a prayer and we forget it. Hence, is the universal guideline in The Holy Koran. War is bad, but it is found everywhere; indiscipline is bad, but it is present everywhere; hatred is bad, but it is found everywhere; crime is bad, but it is found everywhere.

Considering the majority of any bad ways of life, you cannot accept or approve it. Until yesterday I was wrong, this does not mean that I cannot become right from today. Islam believes in the Creator of all universes; it respects all religions and prohibits hostile criticism of any religious leaders; Islam is explicitly in the lineage of Judaism and Christianity; above all Islam loves human being, as the best of God's creation from various point of views. Give a respectful look towards Islam; Islam will guide you in the right way of living. We are all children of Adam. We are all brothers and sisters. Let us live the good way, with respect for all, doing harm to no human being -- this is the true objective that Islam teaches. Of course some / many rigid Islamic preachers propagate the things conducive to their purpose. This became explicit during the Middle Ages in Europe with the Roman Catholics. Of course, there were many mistakes in the past. Let us learn from those. My words are for the better understanding. Islam is open for all. Yes, Islam confirms that you follow the way you like in good conscience. Do not cling to the traditional past adamantly. Do not kill; do no harm to others; always apply your good judgments; try to help others as much as you can. God loves you. He has placed you in the Nature on this earth. Be good and let others be good. If everybody helps everybody then all are benefited.

With best regards to all readers. A.B.M. Shamsud Doulah shamsuddoulah@yahoo.com
