in response to reader comment: Rambling about Bengalees

Submitted by A.B.M. Shamsud Doulah (Bangladesh), Mar 23, 2011 at 11:46

Dear Mr. Prashant:

Please read my words again. You shall be able to get the answer to your question.

Millions of Bengalee Hindus were enchanted by the words of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and other non-Bengalee Hindu leaders in 1947. Otherwise, today both West Bengal and Bangladesh would have been one rich sovereign state. It was strongly suggested by the Prime Minister of Bengal Shaheed Suhrawardy, Sarat Bose, Kiran Shankar Ror and many other leaders of the Undivided Bengal. Even Mr. Jinnah did not oppose it.

Kindly read the last few Chapters of the book "History of the Bengali Speaking People" and "Bengal Divided" by Nitish Sen Gupta for better understanding of the subject and theme of my note.
