In many muslim countries Islam is not being followed with true spirit

Reader comment on item: [Moderate] Voices of Islam
in response to reader comment: Islam allows all people to practice their faith?

Submitted by Hamid Mahmood (Oman), May 19, 2008 at 11:49

Dear Terry,

I fully agree with you. Many muslims are not following the message of Islam, therefore they are being disgraced in this world, and they will be disgraced in the day after as well. As most of the Christains have left their religion, many muslims have also done so. Please dont blame Isalm for that.

If any one is not protecting the rights of the people of other faiths in a muslim country, he is not following Islam, rather he is harming Islam more than its enemies.

Islam protects rights of animals what to talk of the rights of human beings.

Regards,

Hamid
