John Mark's unkind remarks.

Reader comment on item: [Moderate] Voices of Islam
in response to reader comment: Ugly face of Islam

Submitted by Prem Das (Malaysia), Sep 17, 2008 at 00:45

I am not a muslim, but even I know that John Mark is way over the line with his bigoted view of 'The Prophet' and his 'Message'. He too, has been listening to HIS clergy.

In the Holy Koran it is expressly stated, the Jews, the Christians and the Moslems are the "People of the Book". This is one and the same 'Book" that "HE" gave the Jews in the first instant, and then the Christians following that and finally to the Moslems. In actuality it is one and the same faith. But Human nature being what it is, adherents of the different facets are adamantly insistent that "God's Message" is only for them. So strife is the order of the day.

During the lifetime of the "Prophet" peace really did existed between all peoples. This is Historical fact.

Islam now is the Islam of the Ulama. This is a different kettle of fish altogather.
