in response to reader comment: Islam has solution to humanity

Dear Mahmood:

It appears that your perception of Western society is that every man routinely hires prostitutes, girls are all sexually active at fourteen, rape is considered a minor crime and that everyone walks around drunk in public all day long. You are wrong on all counts.

I don't personally know anyone who has gone to a prostitute and I am nearly sixty years old. Although many girls are sexually active before marriage, it does not normally begin at the age of fourteen. however arranged and forced marriages of girls that young apparently is quite common in Islamic societies.

Rape is considered a very serious crime indeed and in most states within the United States it can result in a prison sentence of fifteen to twenty-five years. And do you think that we here in the United States have become a military, economic and technological world leading nation by being drunk all the time? We managed to put a man on the moon nearly forty years ago whereas most Islamic societies would have trouble inventing a can opener if left to their own devices. It may be true that most Muslims are peaceful people and that a proper reading of Islamic scripture will not cause them to engage in random violence.

But it is also undeniably true that the Islamic mind has become stultified by a rigid adherence to the Quran to the point where you cannot fathom the concept that stoning people to death or chopping off hands and feet as part of the penal system is barbaric behavior. I don't care if there are four witnesses to the crime or four hundred witnesses, it is still not something that a civilized people should be doing. The same goes for public floggings and other abominations fostered by Sharia.

I think that Muslims should simply stay in Muslim societies and that Western societies are commiting slow suicide by allowing the mass migration of Muslims to their homelands. This is currently the case in Europe where millions of Muslims have migrated in their attempt to convert these nations to Islam. I would like my country to do two things: 1) to remove itself totally from the Middle East and utilize other oil resources and alternative fuels so that we do not need to purchase any oil products from Islamic nations, and 2) I would like to see a Constitutional ban on Islam in the United States based upon the fact that Islam refuses to accept any legal code other than Sharia and Islam therefore will not abide by our own laws and is completely, totally incompatible with our own concepts of freedom and democracy. This would, of course, also require that Muslims be deported to other nations. Then we can all live in peace.
