While I agree with you that few could give a care about Israel and many obviously wish it outright harm, I think a critical perceptual transformation by Jews is required. Jews need to take responsibility for their own actions and stop trying to deflect responsibility to other partys (world opinon). Thus, they and they alone, need to look out for themselves. In the example I cited in my previous comment, the Battle of Bint JBail, the IDF [and Jewish commentators] put the importance of World Opinion above the safety of their soldiers.

This strategy will not work. Israel needs to do what's right for Israel. In actuality, the moral resolve and courage to advance Israel's cause will, in the long-run, possibly win over World opinion. However, let me be clear, favorable World Opinion is by no means the goal. The goal is self-preservation.
