Pipes is right as usual...Reader comment on item: Strange Logic in the Lebanon War Submitted by Edgar Malcolm Ervin (United States), Aug 16, 2006 at 18:05 I have been glued every day to the news. It was very obvious that CNN (Wolf Blitzer) and every program after his, drilled the point home that the IDF had struck the Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon. In fact, their own reporter at the scene who had spoken to a Palestinian official reported the official said two choppers only targeted a PLO admin building with five shots (probably 50 cal.) to "fire a shot across their bow with the intention to keep the Palestian group out of the war". Yet every time during there their breaking news was; That Israel struck the refugee camp in Sidon with 50,000 people affected. (Truth is more like 100,000 refugees are there). This is just more of the same inflammatory rhetoric that makes me irate and furthers the cause of the liberal and sympathetic thoughts toward the "attacked" Lebonese "party of God" by Israel. When will the scales fall off the worlds eyes and get the overall picture that until Israel and the United States are wiped off the face of the globe these dangerous factions will not quit their fight... When and if the Islamic factions are successful with the destruction of Israel and the U.S. will the liberal media be wishing they had a protector? With great love for Israel, Edgar Malcolm Ervin Mt.
