Biased reporting in Mainstream Media has consequencesReader comment on item: Strange Logic in the Lebanon War Submitted by ex-liberal (United States), Aug 16, 2006 at 15:56 No one should be surprised that the bombing plot unveiled last week could have happened. There is no such thing as objective reporting in the media today. When agencies such as the BBC, CNN, CNBC, etc. continue to give biased news coverage that borders on propaganda, obfuscating the real threat of Islamic terrorists, why should we be surprised! Such mainstream media propaganda further feeds the Muslim cause. It's no wonder the UK is having such problems when it's BBC continues to spout out anti-US, anti-UK, anti-Israel, anti-Bush and anti-Tony Blair garbage. Such media "graffitti" has unintended consequences. Young people who are barely literate and who possess a limited world-view depend on such media "graffitti" for information. Such misinformation recruits anti-war protestors and terrorists every day. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
