they haven't killed enough of us yet

Reader comment on item: Strange Logic in the Lebanon War
in response to reader comment: Biased reporting in Mainstream Media has consequences

I used to find myself wanting to throw a brick thru the TV every time I'd hear some MSM type or some politician say something stupid about appeasing the terrorists or using politically correct/multi-culti reasoning to justify not fighting the islamocrazies/terrorists. This hezbollah-Israel war is no exception. I think the so-called cease fire will not last a week and I hope that Israel utterly crushes them when they go back into Lebanon.

All of these stupid western appeasment attitudes will prevail until the islamoterrorists kill enough of us. What does "enough" mean. For WWII it was Pearl Harbor. For the present, I don't know but I fear it will be Iran or perhaps North Korea lobbing a nuke. It may be Tel Aviv or New York or Taiwan, who knows? But it will involve the nuclear deaths of tens of thousands at least. That will be the price we're willing to pay for not acting now just as the millions dead in WWII were when the world didn't act to stop Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo in the 30's.

So, when you find yourself going crazy at the stupidity and non action to stop terrorism today just keep repeating the mantra, "THEY HAVEN'T KILLED ENOUGH OF US YET". When we reach that point (and we will) the violence of WWII, Hiroshima, the internment of the Japanese, etc. will seem like a Sunday school picnic compared to how we will retalliate to the islamic crazies. Armagedon will be too mild a term to use for our response. But not until they kill enough of us. I believe it was Stephen Ambrose who said something along the lines of, "Never underestimate the fury of an aroused democracy". I pray he's correct.
