Israel's Proportionate War

Reader comment on item: Strange Logic in the Lebanon War
in response to reader comment: moral inversion of warfare

Why has Jewish opinion about warfare mutated in such a perverse way? Because the only friends Israel has is the US and Australia. The rest of the world can't tolerate the Jews retaliating against Muslim attacks unless they use "proportionate" force. "Proportionate", is a new tactic for war and of course it only applies to Jews. And the US has consistently forced Israel to stop as soon as they got the upper hand. So don't blame the Jews. You can bet your last dollar, that if the Jews ever lost the war and were eliminated from the Middle East by the Muslims, the world wouldn’t shed a tear or express any sorrow. However, it may make the late news or the last page of a newspaper.
