Aug.11'06 "LGF" web site above has an enlightening article titled "How much does it cost to buy global TV news?" ....The middle east has its' own version of " truth" via APTN (Assoc.Press TV News). The rest of planet earth gets a separate AP feed that filters out to the 1500+ subscribers (~150 non-arab countries) .

Freedom of the press does not exist in the Muslim world , access by most is limited ...the degree of brain washing by age 7-10 precludes making any dent in the " war for hearts and minds" . We are witnessing the inevitable build up to convulsive tragedy on a global scale...read any # of these comments with newsworthy links.
