As to what appears, it can be just plain political rhetoric. Russian socialism banged hard at the door of American democracy for over 60 years and didn't get in, so anything else parading in the same way but wearing a different jacket is not going to get in either. We don't need to collapse under an avalanche of paranoia. The choice is always open for us as individuals to analyse a situation from a non-hysterical point of view. Jayelle Farmer September 9, 2010
