No such thing as a Moderate Muslim!

Reader comment on item: Americans Wake Up to Islamism

Submitted by Paul (Malaysia), Oct 1, 2010 at 21:39

"..... inescapable fact that Muslims alone can offer an antidote to Islamism. As I often note, radical Islam is the problem and moderate Islam is the solution."

You must be kidding, right? Moderate Islam is what softens the "dough" and takes you into a state of acceptance. And from one, they then move on to the next and the next and the next. We have seen it happen in Malaysia, where even the use of Allah by Christians is now prohibited and an act of desecration of the holy Eucharist by 2 Muslim reporters goes unpunished, whereas any slight against Islam or their mosques has the Rushdie Rules applied on the "guilty". Fact is, I hardly could find a Muslim friend who could unreservedly condemn 9/11. What Ahmadinejab of Iran said at the UN that 9/11 was the job of the US itself or the Jews was spoken of within days of 9/11, 2001. So nothing new to us.
