Reader comment on item: Americans Wake Up to Islamism
in response to reader comment: opportunity lost?

Hi GIK

>this is appropos of none of Mrs Khan's comments but I am starting to think that the proposed now non-burning of the Koran is an opportunity lost. If the pastor (and Obama who ' feared the stunt could ignite a worldwide wave of Islamic outrage') had been smart - instead of being held hostage to the prospective tantrums of violent six year olds worldwide - could have put the ball in their court. By making the non-burning conditional upon their good behaviour.

You make sense but where was Mr Obama when the Bible was being burnt and churches were being fire bombed in Malaysia when Christians in Malaysia used the word Allah as a name for their god?

Oh and hypocrite Abdul Rauf told the world that if Christians use the word Allah as a proper name for their God then this will be viewed as a provocation to Muslims in Malaysia! Typical Islamic threats

Enter stupid tablighees in Pakistan who tell us that Allah is really the name of God of all of humanity so who is really right and who is wrong? but again this is islam

i.e. OK - no car bombings, suicide bombings, amputatiuons, stonings, killing of or any form of discrimination against non-muslims. No jizya, female genital mutilation or child marriages, hanging of gays, amputations for punitive reasons worldwide for the next 12 months - otherwise - the little green books of ignorance goes onto the pyre. i.e make THEM take responsibility for their own actions and they keep their part of the bargain - for the non-burning of the 'sacred' islamic text.

We can only dream on

>If they don't - they only have themselves to blame. Seems a simple solution. Can they do it?

Off course they cannot because Muslims and islam are stuck in 7th century Arabia

>Don't hold your breath - not even for a day.

I will never hold my breath when it comes to islam
