By my Lord God of my soul in his hands.
Indeed Islam came to free mankind from servitude to other human beings. Islam also came to free mankind from lust to something like excessive termask we love another human being even to your wife, husband, children, or to excessive wealth. Why? Because God does not want people damaging themselves with excessive love for what is already created. Because humans often can not distinguish between love with lust. Which eventually humans easily persuaded by Satan to follow his path.

In Islam, God has many qualities of truth that must be recognized and followed by a man who called Asmaul Husna. And the love and affection only 2 of them. Another trait that is fair, and judges. So much in love with it against other properties that are taught of God. Like the sun and heavenly bodies are others who are equally created by God, man must always walk on the orbit in order to live in harmony on this earth, by following the nature of truth that is taught by God. Also with the avoidance of circumstances or events that may endanger the entertainment because of the excessive desire to invite like Valentine's Day. Muslims prefer to avoid not just the interest but to ensure the survival of the human race onwards.
So Valentine day is not about love but about the excessive lust, wrapped like a gift of holy love.
