To Nadia

I will not waste precious time on something you do not read Nadia, only "briefly looking through it." www.answering-islam.org is not "a Jewish website made by Jews who obviously want to write false things about Islam," it is a website prepared and run by evangelical Christians, and if you are aware of false things they have written about Islam, please contact them at dialog2007@answering-islam.de and they will correct it in line with their "Principles and Policies" http://www.answering-islam.org/policy.html

One man's actions do reflect on the whole of Islam Nadia, when that man is Muhammad, "the model for all mankind" as claimed by Islam. Muhammad condoned violence against wives by their husbands, himself using violence that "caused her pain" against his favourite wife, his child-bride Aisha.

Should your future husband beat you Nadia, he will be doing so with Qur'anic "justification" and command of Surah 4:34, the Arabic word idribhunna derived from the three-consonant root D-r-b, which translators into English variously render, beat, beat (lightly), chastise, scourge, the bracketed (lightly) being inserted by Hilali and Khan, and not appearing in the original Arabic.

The Bible (Biblios, Greek "The Books) is the written word of the most Holy Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and although it is a collection of 66 books compiled under the guidance of God's Holy Spirit ,over a period of 1,500 years, it is one book describing the one way to the One God "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16 "The prophets did not think these things up on their own, but they were guided by the Spirit of God." 2 Peter 1:21

The Qur'an has very much to say about the authority of the Bible, typical being "Say: ‘O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord.' It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith." Surah 5:68 and I quote the Qur'an, not because it has authority for me, it doesn't Nadia, I do not accept it as a revelation of the most High Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Neither do I "understand" it Nadia, "it" being God's Unity in Tri-Unity, but I believe it, being God's self-revelation of Himself. The first and most important thing to know about God, is that we can only know of Him what He graciously chooses to reveal of Himself to us, and that if God is small enough for us to "understand" and explain, He isn't big enough for us to worship.

Islam does not "share the same basic beliefs of (the original) Jewish and Christian faiths" and the reason why it has "similar stories" is that Muhammad recycled the Biblical stories he heard, putting his own Islamic slant on them

Muhammad was a slave owner, slave dealer and slave trader, and I have previously documented this in my posting at http://www.danielpipes.org/comments/122186 where I also corrected your other wrongful assertions, sourcing my corrections in the Qur'an, Qur'anic Tafsir, Sahi Hadith, and the Sirat and Ta'rikh literature.

Should you not read them, or read them and dispute them, that is your problem Nadia not mine, believing as you do, that you will stand before Allah on the day of judgement, to give an account of your actions and beliefs.

With kind regards and best wishes

Lactantius Jr.
